Your audience

So, your in front of a crowd, giving a speech about a boring topic; your audience is becoming uninterested and not exactly into your topic. Audience adaptation and analysis is the most important thing when giving a speech. The audience is your judge and if you don’t make them interested, your speech will be an epic failure. The biggest thing is the topic, always pick a topic that everyone can somehow relate to or find somewhat interesting. Also, keep the audience interested with your words. Think out your speech so you are not repetitious and everyone can understand what you are saying. If you keep your audience interested, your speech will be a success and you will feel confident afterwards.

In my first speech I plan on getting the audience involved by consistently explaining things in a way that is interesting, simple, and informative. My topic, in my opinion, is something that everyone can relate to.

  1. Yes I agree with you. Audience adaptation and analysis are very important. When people don't understand this or utilize this their presentations become weaker than it should have. To have a successful presentation the main goal for the speaker should be to entertain the audience. You have some awesome tips that go along with entertaining the audience and getting the audience involved which is very important. I hope you use all the tips you use in your presentation this coming week. Is there ways in which you are effectively going to use audience analysis? You wrote a lot about audience adaptation but fall short on mentioning anything about audience analysis.
